One glance at the menu board at Tak Tak Polish Deli, and it’s quickly clear what this eatery is all about: pierogies. Customers can choose from four sorts of these Eastern European staples, including a traditional one with cabbage, as well as an experimental variety with beet. The fried onions, melted butter and sour cream served with each portion are perfect complements. And for dessert? More pierogies — but filled with sweet cream cheese. (lr)
